Why Should I Read Another Blog?
Believe it or not, accounting is about a lot more than numbers. The work we do allows us (no, requires us) to become intimately acquainted with our clients. Their business lives. Their financial lives. And, in between the fact-finding and number-crunching we learn about our client’s hopes and dreams, plans and goals, disappointments and new beginnings.
Is social media a good thing or, simply, a distraction? After attending more seminars and workshops than we can count, we’re leaning towards “a good thing.” We’ve found blogs we adore. We’ve crossed some off our list. The amazing thing is how much we are learning.
Having a blog is our way of communicating that we are more than accountants and tax preparers. We’re also people who aren’t afraid to try new things. (Well, maybe a little afraid.) We’re willing to embrace the future by utilizing the newest technology available to ensure that our clients are well served. You have opened your lives up to us. We’d like to return the favor!
So what can you expect to see on our blog? Tax tips, of course. After all, that’s who we are. We’ll share our knowledge on various aspects of business, offer hopefully helpful suggestions, recommendations, tips large and small interspersed with a smattering of humor. Our goal is to enlighten and educate, with the desired results being to build a client-accountant relationship that’s mile-high in trust, confidence and mutual satisfaction.
